Job Opportunity:

Visto’s Trailer Sales is currently seeking a parts specialist to sell trailer parts over the counter and on the phone along with rental sales ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction through parts expertise. As a pivotal member of our team, you will contribute to the continued success and growth of Visto’s Trailer Sales.

Reports To: Parts Manager

Primary Job Resposibilities:

Sales & Parts

• Selling of over the counter parts, in person, and over the phone
• Perform special orders for parts from multiple vendors
• Selling of Truck Beds in person and over the phone
• Ensure showroom and displays are clean, faced and accurately priced
• Perform spot counting and update daily
• Responsible for ensuring limited lost sales and over aged stock
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding part budget goals
• Attend product training as it becomes available
• Responsible for checking in and putting away of all stock parts and special orders

Rental Sales

• Responsible for scheduling of rental reservations
• Ensuring rental customers are educated on their reservation

Backup Service

• Backup service writing as needed following all guidelines

Skills/Qualifications:

• Will train the right individual
• Excellent typing and computer skills
• Drivers License
• Able to operate equipment including towing of a trailer
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with talking directly with customers and answering questions
• Physical ability to stand, bend, squat and lift 50 lbs throughout the day including overhead, unload tires, wheels, and parts by hand and with a forklift
• Basic general math skills including add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, and calculating percentages
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Clear, effective communicator, verbally and in writing
• High level of attention to detail while performing a variety of tasks
• Superb service oriented mindset

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Every 3rd Saturday: 8:45 am - 2:00 pm
• Part day off when a Saturday is worked
• Hours may vary depending on workloads and seasonality

• Work is performed inside at the parts counter
• Fast-paced, collaborative environment

Compensation:

• $20.00HR to $25.00HR. DOE. Opportunity for a future base plus commission structure, offering endless possibilities for motivated individuals. Excellent opportunities for growth within the company!
